The Project

Wastewater Quality Monitoring and Prediction (WQMP) system is an all-in-one software package that is intended to be used at The Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning. It’s goal is to enhance the workflow of data entry and decision making related to water and wastewater quality in Turkey.

The WQMP system contains three modules: Data Entry, Prediction and Visualization.

  • Data Entry module facilitates entry of water quality readings and validating the data.
  • Prediction module consumes the data input and predicts future water quality based on past data.
  • Visualization module generates charts for present water quality readings and future predictions, helping employees of The Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning make decisions regarding water treatment plants in an informed way.
